Annie and Chanh have proven time and time again that they’re the stars of our James Bowie Key Club, so at our annual banquet we crowned them Ms. and Mr. Key Club to commemorate all the volunteering they have done for our community!

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and as our 2014 - 2015 Key Club year comes to a finish, our senior officers must move on to brighter horizons as they begin the next fall as freshmans in college! Those of us still at Bowie High School will remember the dedication they poured into their Key Club year to making it as fun as possible while helping the community around us!

Hey hey hey Key Clubbers! It’s finally the end of the school year, and it’s time for SUMMER! Now now, I know you’re all in a rush to hit the vacations and beachs, so let me just part with you something you could do with your friends under the stars this year! This summer me and my friends are going to the Coyote Drive-In Movie Theater! I think it’s a nice change of pace from just sitting in a cold room to sitting outside under the stars covered in blankets! What movies are we going to watch? Well, with the line-up for next week, we’re going to be watching Insidious 3 and then Pitch Perfect 2. What a whacky match-up huh? But I’m looking forward to making memories with my friends this year after so much work and stress! If you’re also thinking of attending a drive-in movie theater, let me give you some advice: • Find someone with a truck. Drive-in theaters are so much better if you can lay in the back of a truck and watch the movie outside rather than having to sit in your car or a lawn chair! • Bring LOTS of blankets • Mosquito repellent is a MUST if you live in Texas • Bring a battery powered radio so your car’s battery doesn’t die on you!

On May 16th 2015, we had our end of the year banquet at the Bob Duncan Center, and the theme was the golden years! It was a night filled with good food, games, and awards as we celebrated all the accomplishments we made during the year. The past senior officers were also given parting college gifts by their suceeding officer and even the sponsors got a golden stapler!
