Children’s Summer Reading program booklet with Secret Decoder magnifying glass concept from provided art | photoshop | indesign Created slogan and detective theme to work with the ALA-provided character art. Placed “hidden messages” in the booklet, on library posters, and on the web site. We ran out of decoders and booklets that year.

Sudlow
RO B E R T
has long been considered one of the most important landscape painters to emerge from the Midwest. Inspired by the French Impressionists, Sudlow paints outdoors throughout Kansas, creating scenes of beauty and serenity. Sudlow was the first artist selected as the Kansas Governor's Artist in 1974, and he was named Kansan of the Year in 1997. He is professor emeritus with the University of Kansas, and his painting career spans more than fifty years. His works are owned by museums, corporations and individuals throughout the United States.
