CIVIL
Ceremonies
The Shireburn Arms is fully licensed for civil ceremonies in the beautiful Ribble Room which overlooks our stunning gardens and offers striking views of the Ribble Valley. The Ribble Room can accommodate up to 110 guests. For smaller ceremonies we can change the layout of the room to create a more intimate space. Please note it is your responsibility to contact the Registrar to arrange the ceremony details and to provide legal notice of intent to marry.

Wedding Breakfast The Ribble Room is transformed into a magical setting for your wedding breakfast for up to 110 guests. Our talented chefs have created three wedding breakfast packages that celebrate the very best in locally sourced produce.
Choosing fabulous food and fine wine to celebrate your wedding is one of the most important elements and will make your special day even more memorable. To help you choose your dream wedding breakfast, we hold regular tasting evenings to allow you to sample your favourite dishes, along with the selected wines in the package. Please speak to your wedding coordinator to discuss your menu options.

Gardens Outside our south facing gardens and terrace provide a fantastic space, not only for your photographs but to host a drinks reception after your ceremony too.

As day turns into night, The Shireburn Arms really comes alive. With space for up to 150 guests for your evening reception, you can choose a DJ, a band or both to dance the night away until the small hours. Enjoy drinks from your private bar and with exclusive use of our fantastic games room, you can keep kids, both big and small, entertained too!

Bedrooms
We have 21 individually designed and decorated rooms and suites available for your guests. Just like the inn itself each room is filled with charm, character and warmth. Our finest suite is reserved for the happy couple, giving you a luxurious space to relax and unwind when your celebrations have ended.
Payments If you would like to go ahead and book the Shireburn Arms, we request a minimum payment of £1,000 or 25% of your wedding breakfast food price, whichever is greater. In the case of external caterers, the full kitchen hire fee is required. Nine months before the date of your wedding, 50% of the estimated wedding total is payable. The outstanding balance must be paid three months prior to the wedding date – any further items added to the invoice after the final payment must be settled one month prior to the wedding date. Children are classed as 12 and under but are not included in the minimum numbers. Please be aware that the prices are subject to any vat increases. MINIMUM GUEST NUMBERS Depending on the time of year and day of the week there are a minimum number of day and evening guests that must be met. Please ask your wedding coordinator for further details. W E D D I NG I N S U R A NC E Paying for your big day is a significant financial commitment. It is for this reason that we require you to have the basic wedding insurance policy in place on confirmation of your booking. Please ask your wedding co-ordinator for a copy of our guide to wedding insurance or you are welcome to source your own insurance provider.
