Different Types Of Photography By James Riley

Different Types Of Photography List of different photographers •  Animal Whether you are taking a photograph of a man ea<ng a crocodile in the Amazon or of your pet rabbit in its cage you are enjoying the wonderful world of animal photography. Animals, like people, each have their own personality traits and characteris<cs that you can capture on film. To get a perfect photo it oHen takes pa<ence, perseverance and an understanding of the animal's behavior. •  Night Just because the sun goes to sleep and the moon comes out to play, it doesn't mean you have to pack your camera away. You can get some fascina<ng photos under the moon and starlit sky, with the moon and stars themselves being willing models. You can of course, also use flashes and ar<ficial light sources. •  Concert Some of the hardest, well focused photos to get usually occur in low light situa<ons such as concerts, theatre and indoor sports. It can be challenging to do, as you may not be allowed to use flash, and if you are, you may be too far away for it to maNer. You must also concentrate on focusing on rapidly moving people and using telephoto or zoom lenses to bring you closer to your subjects. •  Sports When you are photographing sports you should try to get some good ac<on shots, but you should also remember the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. Some of the greatest sports photos ever taken are non-‐ac<on shots. •  Travel If you've ever been to Niagara Falls do you really have to ask yourself why nine out of ten people have a camera with them? Travel photography comes as natural as breathing to many holiday goers, as they never leave home without a camera. You can take all types of photos while traveling. There are photo journals which document your trip from start to finish. •  Time lapse Time lapse photography occurs when you set your camera to take photographs at certain <me intervals. The camera will take a series of images every 10 minutes, every hour or whatever interval you set it at. If you play the images back at a faster rate of speed it will create an illusion of <me passing quickly. •  Interior When taking interior photography, you will have to adjust your camera or use an accessory or two for good shots. Most types of photographic film and camera lenses are made for outside handheld use. When you take a camera indoors they usually aren't as effec<ve because it's generally darker inside. •  Underwater Taking photos in the bathtub could be considered underwater photography, but it usually means photos or films taken in larger bodies of water. The amount of shipwrecks, animal and plant life under water is very hard to comprehend, so it's understandable why photographers want to explore the seas and oceans and preserve their findings on film.
