James Taylor

I reside in Richmond, VA with my wife, Sheridan, and our two daughters, Virginia and Margaret. Oh yes, and our dog, Maddy. I am a freelance singer, and I also teach voice at the University of Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University. I am a professional singer and teacher of singing. I have had the privilidge of singing on three continents and am looking forward to adding my fourth in the next couple of years. I have also had the honor to sing with some prestigious opera companies and symphony orchestras, and am lucky that they still hire me. My students have gone to prestigious graduate schools, and several are in the midst of professional careers, not only in opera but Musical Theatre. A few of'em sing at ome pretty darned great opera houses. I'm most proud of the fine teachers that I have taught.
