Her sire, Envoy, was a very unique polled bull. He had extreme length of body, excellent muscle and a dinner plate foot. We have sold quite a number of females to purebred breeders: Keet Simmentals, Star West, Bonchuk Farms, Keiran Hodges, J-Dan Farms, Tanner Madge, HMR Farms, Kuniec Simmentals, Black Gold Simmentals, Loralta Farms, Mark Kilar. Wow, once I got started I realized we have sold around 25 females and have retained 20 for ourselves. Envoy is a bull that has allowed us to have polled heads without losing muscle. We have always appreciated our relationship with the Lone Stone crew, from buying their genetics, to cattle tours at our farm or their’s. The Browns are cattlemen we respect so much and can’t thank them enough for offering us a spot in this awesome sale. The five heifers we have on offer bring everything we love about cattle to the table. There’s a vast depth of pedigree with multiple sire groups represented from the large herd bull battery here at KSL as well as a true maternal kick from big time producing cows, that we love for their functionality, sound udders, feet, style and proven track records! It’s always hard to part with heifers like these but we’re sure they will continue to be front end cows for their new owners. We couldn’t be happier with Duke’s dam, a young, very productive Balboa cow, with a tidy udder and an appetite to produce eye catching bull calves. His maternal brother sired by Big Sky Bubba is sure to be a standout Polled bull in our February 25th bull sale on the farm in 2019! The Duke calves are quick to get up and suck, come easy and grow grow grow. We had heifers wean some 8-900 lb calves, with them only hitting the ground at birth in the low to mid 80’s. Welcome to the 2nd annual Lone Stone Farms Invitational Female Sale. Again many thanks to Lonnie and Karen, Nathan and Alisha for hosting the sale and our fellow consignors to come up with such a strong showing of bred heifers for this event. The Hazel Bluff Angus heifers are right out of the heart of our program. They represent many years of careful selection for fertility, performance and temperament. Their pedigrees go back to the beginning of our program 27 years ago. They are a great opportunity for you to add some genetic diversity to your herd or an excellent choice to start building your herd.

We would like to welcome you to the 2nd Lone Stone Invitational Female sale and thank Lone Stone Farms for inviting us and hosting the sale. You will notice we have no black bred heifers in the sale this year because we only had a few black heifers born last year, so you are getting the top end red breds from us this year as we had more reds to pick from this year. These heifers are in right working condition and have had their first Scour Bos shot so they are ready to go into your herd. All the heifers are bred to Red Dwajo Strong Bar 11E out of one of the best cow families at Dwajo. We have not put the EPDs in the catalog as they will change and be updated in November. If you have any questions on this matter please contact us. We would like to thank all the bidders and buyers from last year’s sale and are looking forward to your evaluation of this year’s offering. Please contact Dwayne, Joanne or Jesse Emery 780-305-4209 ,780-674-4410

Redman being her sire translates into a very moderate package. The Redman cattle put on flesh very easily. It’s easy to over feed them. We have calved out a half dozen females out of him. The udders are tidy and even. I also appreciate the correctness of their feet. Bodes very well for longevity.

They are closely bred as they have the same sire and their dam’s are both out of Bar-E-L Agent. We sold five Redman daughters in last year’s sale. We felt that they were very well received and went to some great herds.
