Sailing around the world the wrong way, dodging pirates and taking a lot of photographs. My travel photography has been published in The Times, Wanderlust, and The Telegraph, amongst other publications, whilst our adventure from Turkey to India was serialised in Sailing Today. Awards and commendations include Sony World Photography Award and The Guardian travel. My photography nowadays, however, is more about street. It's a branch of photography that I continue to explore, understand and refine. It's becoming a very personal journey but it will culminate in a new sub-genre called 'stravel', a combination of travel and street. Hold on, wasn't HCB doing that 70 years ago? Yes, I think he was.
