Jamila Jones

My name is Jamila Jones and I am an 20-year-old 3rd-year student at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, majoring in Fashion Design. Fashion gives me a creative way to express myself in a way that I am passionate about. My love for fashion began at a young age styling my Barbie dolls, cutting up and recreating my own clothes and drawing outfits with crayon on newspaper. I enjoy working with beautiful fabrics and using vibrant color palettes and finding patterns that compliment women’s bodies. My pieces show femininity and styles for vibrant women that love expressing themselves through fashion. I love studying and collecting magazines, drawing, sewing, printmaking, and shopping. I’m a perfectionist at fit and combining different colors and patterns in my personal style and designs.
