“Seeking to better understand and engage my sense of vocation holistically and coherently in the midst of several compelling but disparate responsibilities is one of the most pressing interests I face as a Christian woman. The fact that the De Pree Center is giving much-needed attention to the importance and complexity of daily work across sectors through its Leadership Lab initiative evokes nothing less than pure delight from me.

“Technology has become so deeply embedded in the fabric of our personal lives, from smart phones to social networks to the touchscreen in the dashboard of my car. And those of us who are tasked with driving innovation in the technology industry are faced with a balancing act — working in the mechanical, inanimate world of code while living among real, breathing people. The De Pree Leadership Labs bring the human to the forefront of that balancing act — reminding us of the importance of connecting, sharing, inspiring, and mentoring. I am thrilled to be working with the Center to engage with the technology community at-large in keeping a ‘truly human’ perspective.”
