What’s up fellas! I am sending you this shout out to ask for ya help to be apart of an effort to change the face of HIV/AIDS in Harlem and the Bronx. Harlem United is launching a new website specifically for Men of Color and would like YOUR direct input on how you want it to look and work. Now, if you read this far, you’re probably asking yourself… SELF.oO(why/how is this different from any other AIDS service organizations have attempted something like this in the past… and would I even want something like that on the internet when I am trying to get my freak on?!). The way it is different is in the fact that we want you to tell us what you want to see on the net when it comes to HIV/AIDS prevention, but much more then just HIV/AIDS prevention, also, general health and medicine, tips and tricks to dating in NYC as well as news and local events. We envision this website to be one of the premiere websites men of color would log on to get the “what’s what” in Harlem. But in order for this to work, we need your help. Now, if you read this far, you’re probably asking yourself… SELF.oO(WHATS IN IT FOR ME?!) Well, for participation in the group on either nights listed below for 8 weeks, we will purchase your membership to the program for (1) year. With your paid membership, you will be able to view live videos from any of the hundred rooms located on paltalk. Now, if you read this far, you’re probably asking yourself… SELF.oO(Ok, sounds good, but what do I have to do now?!) It’s really simple and you wouldn't even have to come into our offices. These will be a virtual chat group happening Thursday and Friday nights from 9:00pm-11:00pm. We will be using a program called (http://www.paltalk.com) Paltalk. All you need to do is download the program and log on to our room. It’s just that simple. If this is something you would be interested in and want to join, log on and enter the room “Harlem Bruthas United” in the African American Section of “rooms”. To see the room, you will need to enable the option for ADULT ROOMS. It will be a LOCKED room, so you will need to use the following password to enter. “hufocus1”. I hope to see ya there.
