he heavy rain in the early afternoon of Dec 5 stopped just in time for 300 guests to turn up in their finest Louis Vuitton outfits to celebrate the reopening of the brand’s store at Ngee Ann City. For six months, the store had undergone extensive renovations to link its first level to the newly acquired second level. This was achieved with a metal-ribbon spiral cantilevered staircase, which is now the centerpiece of the boutique. The outlet’s homely atmosphere was created with the help of actress Michelle Yeoh, who picked furniture and other interior-décor elements that create a comfortable sanctuary. ion 010 collect 2 Yeoh, along with chairman and e is ru C Vuitton’s CEO of Louis Vuitton, Yves Carcelle g off Louis in w o sh Models and other VIP guests officiated at the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the reopening.
