Jan Meininghaus

Born 1973, I spent my youth with comicbooks, BMX-bikes, Arcade-Games, TV-shows like"The Dukes of Hazzard" and movies like "Bullit" and "Star Wars". I began my illustration career at the age of 15 designing gig-posters and cover artwork for the bands in my hometown. From that beginning I quickly gained clients from youth culture related labels to blue chip brands aiming to reach a stylish and trendy audience. My illustrative style is influenced by urban subculture and fashion, music and movies. My body of work includes fashion and art, layout and design, storyboards, concept art and comic illustration, I live in Germany and work for a wide range of clients in Europe, UK and the United States.
