Water centre with water reservoir / water towers Gabčikovo, Bratislava 2011 2016 Tutor: doc. Ing. arch. Ján Ilkovič, Csc.
Water is what we need to our daily life. It is something what we should be thankful for if we have it enough but also save it and take care of it for those who don’t. There’s no man on Earth who doesn’t know water...but it always becomes an important and interesting subject. It can be calm and quite but also dangerous unstoppable element of an unconsivable strenght. The main idea of my project is to create the path of knowledge that make people see and feel the water by their skin, heart and brain alltogether. Walking around water tower through very high wet narrow and noisy corridor should bring the respect of its strenght. The next part is about getting information by different interactive pannels and other devices leading to foggy steamy corridor that make people feel the water on their skin. Then the ramp continues to “cave” conference hall filled with few cm shallow water illuminated by the light from upper atrium. Whole vortex path finishes back at starting point situated in the middle high of the centre where guest returns raincoat and macs back to cloackroom. Except ramps, there are also elevators, and so made platforms and inner views that can bring all the experience also to people with handicap. Designed shape of the building especially the roof should be able to absorb water from rain and reuse it.

Urbanistic proposal of RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX Tutor: Ing. arch. Tomáš Hanáček, PhD.
2016 BRATISLAVA, LAMAČ | 2012 Work in a group with: Michal Detko
The purpose of the urbanistic studio was the creation of the urbanistic structure on the theme: “Residential Complex in Bratislava - Lamač. The area is located at the edge of the site, the forest stretching from the Small Carpathians, the largely unbuilt area. Ground area is mostly flat with a slight incline to the longitudinal edge of the forest. The key elements of the area is an important route of highways and that is the direction Bratislava - Brno, which enables quick connection to both near and distant surroundings. This move also cuts transport and encloses two adjacent parts of Bratislava with the already mentioned Lamac with a dominant peak Kobyla. Contiguous positions of natural hills we connected in their favor and a potential tourist connection by creating the biocorridor that ovegrows the designed area and continues over the highway, in the form of an overhead elevated road. Via biocorridor flows the creek, which in some sections becomes a key one interesting area of this structure by creation of parks and squares in those places. Two dominant massifs create a small valley of residential areas and our task was to contribute to their development. Throughout the complex, we tried to combine a natural hierarchy zone with various functional operation units. By the strictly defined highway axis is defined the first zone with amenities underneath the highway with the currently existing objects of automobile showrooms, which we supplemented by an absent public facilities of a commercial shopping center with two parking houses, because of the frequent imminent road transport. The neighbour zone is a polyfunctional zone, whose center is the square of the urban character acented by the narrow sprout of rthe creek and slightly includes part of the biocorridor The following is a residential area where the biocorridor is a picture of the forest that ingrows into it. In this area is a pristine part of parkforest with a watercourse and fully usable space for leisure walks and relax everyday for inhabitants of the residential complex. For recreation and tourism, there is also created walking and cycling path passing underneath the forest. There is a sports complex with tennis courts and exposed multifunctional hall steadily associated to him. For purely residential area is designed a multifunctional space between the polyfunctional block and the edge of the forest and and peaceful route. The composition of the proposal urban structure is based on the morphology of the terrain. The main inspiration were horizontal terrain contours of two hills, the original area and the highway. The number of storeys of the each block is from 3 to 6, with maximum of 8 floor. In the area they are used sectional apartment buildings and apartment buildings with public, private and semi-public areas. These areas are located on the level of the first and the second floor / plateau/ as semi-public and private areas for residents of apartments. Spaces under the plateaus are used as parking lots. Except of parking spaces on the first floor, there aredesigned for spaces for parking also under residential houses. Outside parking garages are available for residents outdoor but covered parking. Across the entire residential complex passes boulevard with pedestrian path and bike paths. At the end of this line rises accent urban nárvhu, 30 meter high Observation Tower on a slight hill of the Little Carpathians.

QUESTIONING and looking for the answer
The social interac tion among people, use of free time, use of public spaces,... have massively changed over last 20 years with increased development of technology, shopping centres and internet. What is the responsibilit y of architec ture nowadays?
Can architec ture still influence or even bring people up?

Apartment house Mixed Use House Galvaniho, Bratislava 2013 2016
Tutor: doc. Ing. arch. Milan Andráš, Csc.
The aim of bachelor thesis was to design showroom with servicestation, located in Bratislava, in RuĹžinov citypart, on TrnavskĂĄ street. Main driver behind presented architectural design solution was to create building which would not only provide pleasing environment for its residents, but which would also allow it to blend with its intended surroundings. Since mixed-use house is a place to live, to provide shelter and safety - the home above all other things - most challenging part was to include requirements based on psychology studies in order to deliver environment which would have positive impact on psychics of the inhabitants. This was the main goal shaping conceptual character of the house from requirement to fit in its surroundings properly through architectonic expression to internal layout.

To this place leads also cyclo path which is frequently used for spending free time and relax. According to analysis I made about the site I chose the functions and made programmatic layout of infocentre where all of the functions were put in to right order accrding to flow of people . The biggest decision was set by making cyclo path running throughtout the building so the riders could enjoy the interior as well as exterior, feel and be part of everything, pass the event, see the exhibition and decide if to stay at some place longer or continue and leave. The highest challenge was to plan the line, path for both cyclo and on foot visitors by crossing each other, shift, vary, interlace but never colide. In the atrium in -1. level there is a place designed for perfomances that could be observed from all the parts of the building that surrounds it and sitting on ramps and staircases that head to it.
