Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West

Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West is a premier cultural institution situated in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona. Established in January 2015, the museum resides on the historic grounds of the Loloma Transit Station. With a sprawling two-story layout encompassing 43,000 square feet, the museum showcases the art, culture, and rich history spanning 19 states in the American West, Western Canada, and Mexico. The museum is currently expanding by 12,000 sq. ft. due to a generous donation from Louis “Buzz” Sands. When completed in late fall of 2025, the expansion building will house a variety of new exhibitions, including selections from The Eddie Basha Collection.

Rules of Sale

Your draw entries are a commitment to purchase; therefore, you are obligated to purchase all artworks for which you have been drawn. All unsold works will be immediately available for purchase.

As required by law, all applicable sales tax will be applied to all purchases. Purchasers will be invoiced on Monday, February 24.

Fixed Price Sale

The show will open on Saturday, February 22 at 5:00 pm at Legacy Gallery. Each attendee who has purchased a ticket will receive a ballot book containing one ballot (intent to purchase slip) for each piece of art that is in the show. The ballots in each book will contain an assigned number which is registered to the purchaser of that book.

The artwork in the show is available for sale at a fixed price – which is indicated on the information card that is displayed by each piece of art, online, and provided price sheet.

For each piece of artwork that you wish to purchase, simply write your name on the ballot matching the number on the artwork and on the box, then insert the slip into that box.

Purchasers will have until 6:00 pm to drop their signed ballots into the corresponding boxes. At 6:00 pm, ballots will be drawn and names of purchasers will be posted by each piece of artwork.
