Day in the Park August 25, 2013

“The families we serve live in the moment...they have to. When insurance tells them no, and a family can’t afford it, we want to step in and help. ” – Barry & Elaine

Guests started raising their paddles to help raise money to send children with chronic & life-threatening illnesses, developmental disabilities and youth at-risk to camp at no cost to their families.

Thanks to ALL OF YOU, our campers’ wishes and dreams continue to come true!

The Gift Center Guests perused and bid on more than 200 exquisite Gift Center packages, such as premium bottles of wine, weekend getaways, one-of-a-kind gift baskets, outdoor adventures and more! Emcees Narsai David, Cheryl Jennings, Doug McConnell, Sue Hall, Jim Hampton and Mike Nico helped promote the most sought after packages. Thank you to all of the local businesses who generously donated items for our Gift Center!

The most popular packages were items from the Camper Wishlist. Guests had the opportunity to purchase important camp items to keep the fun going all summer long. More than $7,800 was raised to help fund musical instruments , sports equipment and much more!

Epicurean Ensemble

The Beat Goes On This year, in partnership with the Wells Fargo Foundation and the Forever Young Foundation, TTFF launched a Mobile Music Therapy program, “Sophie’s Place”, for children at camp and in local hospitals. In addition to keeping camp free, your continued support of our mission allows us to help children share their stories, build confidence and self-esteem and inspire hope and creativity through playing, moving to and listening to music.
