Janice Grech

A former model and dancer Janice Azzopardi started Vipaj Modelling Centre two years ago. The aim of the agency is to offer alternative teaching from what is being offered on the island. Vipaj is the licence holder for two licences in Italy ‘A New Star Stelle Per Lo Spettacolo’ and the prestigous international fashion event ‘Look of the Year.’ 21 Maltese models have already participated in the last two years and half of them came back with awards or chosen for Italian films that are eventually presented at prestigous film festivals. Being a photographer herself, she ensures that each model has a suitable portfolio to present to clients as most of the times these portfolios determine whether a model will eventually be booked or not. Janice’s goal is to achieve success abroad with Maltese models as she firmly believes in the local talent.
