The Partisan Printing Workshop Slovenija is one of the best-preserved authentic historic monuments from the times of World War II. It was the largest and technically best-equipped partisan printing workshop in Primorska region.

Gewerkenegg Castle, built in the 16th century, now houses the headquarters of the Municipial Museum Idrija - the best European Museum of Industrial and Technical Heritage in 1997.
