photography by it self wasnt enogh for me. It was at the end of last millenium when I was shooting Feedback group members from whom i accepted the challenge to also design a CD cover. During this time I also had the oportunity to get acquainted to the printing processes as I worked in a studio, which also owns a small offset printer. The final product was seen and well excepted and shortly thereafter I was invited to participate in the organization and creation of visual identity for the Novo Mesto Short Film Festival also known as Sniff. At the same time I kind of logically combined the passion for photography, music and graphic design into three identities of the Jazz Festival Cerkno. It was also during that time that I accepted the invitation from the Radio Student where i worked as a music editor, from there also originates the cooperation with Luka Zagoričnik in the framework to the first Slovenian music label of modern composed music for the L’innomable Records - where I take care of CD design and cover art. In all these projects, I primarily work as a designer, as a photographer, at the Sniff festival also as director / cameraman / editor for the festival video trailers. These days i mainly work for print and internet and i ooften comine it with photography. As a coach and critic I also worked on the Slovenian site for computer creativity 3delavnica.com. We recently co-produced animated video for the latest edition of Animateka (Slovenian animation festival). In the past I often polish my work up their own fatigue, today i devote more
energy to preparation, research, reading the desires and goals of my customers. I rely on constructive and quality dialogue in some, the intuition in others and combinig these aproaches in most cases. I work as a freelance author for 13 year now and have exelent knowledge of the entire design process, from administration through creative work, to the press preparation and in the end of the printing process quality control. I work with the full range of Adobe tools, also in 3D (occasional visualization). As a web designer I use various Internet technologies, I am self initiative, looking at things outside of the box for it’s essence. I’m working both independently and in small teams, which i often also lead. I’m constantly looking for unique approach and solutions in the presentation and / or client’s visual identity, that stand out and succinctly highlight the essence of the advertised or presented. Among others I work for: Modrijan publishing house, Employers’ Association of Slovenia, Municipality of Idrija, Hidria, Kolektor, Municipal Museum Idrija, Target backpacks, Euroman, in the organization of events: started as a teenager in the youth club CMAK Cerkno, the International Short Film Festival Sniff in Novo Mesto, Jazz Cerkno, various smaller events. I also run photography workshop courses with Adobe tools and have deep understanding of the methods of preparating material for various media (print, internet). I have a practical point of view and constantly work to put more order into environment. In ventures or new directions, I like to look ahead, plan carefully, then apply with concentration and good management. Once I have a goal in mind, I’am persistent in its accomplishment. I’m happiest when I can plan and create a permanent foundation upon which to build. Desiring respectability, solidity, love, and family pride and traditions, I loath pretension, insincerity, and deception. Have to serve and to be a rock of dependability and I appreciate the value of a job well done. A natural administrator, methodical and thorough. Known for reliability and pride of workmanship. With heart and knowledge I work for clients who work with knowledge and heart.
