Y E A R During third year the main focus of the course was to work with large scale building that would accommodate living quarters. The site was based in Bilbao, Spain and the main aim of the project was to create a circus school for a squatting circus school found by myself. Quite early in the process, one particular building attracted my attention - an old industrial building complex. The idea was to work with the existing fabric of the site and use as much of the existing building as possible. After consulting with professionals about the spatial requirements of different performers, a realistic, functional and alive space was created accompanied by living quarters. 1:10000

Y E A R During second year, we where given a real client and building, to design an extension. After in depth analysis of the site, in Bethnal green, informative decisions regarding the design and concept could be made. The through contextual analysis gave the project much more meaning and allowed it to work much better with the surroundings. By working closely with V&A Museum of Childhood and the Grade II* listed building it gave me good understanding of how it is to work with client and stringent planning laws.
