Let me introduce myself. I am a certified Birth Doula with DONA International and a mother of 3 beautiful girls, all of whom I gave birth in the UK, delivered by midwives. My first, Aqilah, I had all the painkillers! Gas and air, pethidine, epidural, my waters broken artificially and eventually I had to have a c section. My 2nd was a VBAC with no painkillers and 3rd child was natural delivery (had gas&air that time) too. It is such a joy, helping women to get the birth experience that they desire. I want to help women to understand what they are going through, and to look back and said, I have done my best, even though the outcome is not as expected.
