Accordance, ASEAN pneumatic cultural centre situated on Chareonkrung road on a narrow patch of land in between Yannnawa temple and Taksin Bridge, Bangkok, Thailand. As the country is currently moving towards ASEAN agreement and higher number of immigrants is expected, Accordance responsibilities is to emphasis different cultures while coalescing cultural differences. This is done by providing different functions such as public working space, library, post office, restaurants, auditorium, ceremony halls, exhibition rooms and market, the complex has its fundamental goal for maximizing flat public space on the ground for daily commuters traveling by road, water, train tracks and local community based around the site. The site is on Soi Chareonkrung 52 or informally referred as Soi Wanglee. Since ancient times the Architectural Project 01
area has been a hub of evidence for cultural mixtures. The history of the Soi can be dated back since the Rattanakosin era where it was one of the busiest ports of its time called Wanglee port. The Soi is famous for Chinese commercial trades and it stretches of Chinese shop houses along its alley. It was an important symbol and memorial of Chinese community in Bangkok until it was demolished in 2006. Next to Soi Wanglee is the royal Thai Buddhism temple called Yannawa Temple, an ancient temple since the Ayutthaya era. The temple itself is famous for its century’s year old Thai/Chinese architectural features and its long development in Thai Buddhism practice. The temple also provides museum, school as well as broadcasts its own weekly TV program. Additionally, on the north side of the site within walking distance, there are a small Chinese temple and a mosque. The site Accordance

itself is carpeted with flat concrete and is currently an informal parking lot. Accordance provides the opportunity by facilitating its neighborhood with maximum public space for activities and traffic flow. Because of the narrow and uneven public footpath outside of Accordance site, the space accessibility which Accordance provide will be prioritize by the public to access the medium of transportation available. With this, Accordance can also be an attractive option for mass gathering because of its large capacity while Janny Pimchanok Kimsawat
maintaining fluid traffic flow. The possibilities which Accordance space can provide are events such as hosting exposition, fairs and ceremonies. Accordance spatial division intends to divide and display multiple occurring activities happening at the same time; this can be similar to the experience of ‘window shopping’. Using the pneumatic architectural technique, the commuters walk from one end of the site to another, observing and capturing different experience of different activities happening. Ceremonies in South East Asia countries can be categorized into three types; religion related ceremonies, social ceremonies and political ceremonies. Insulated pneumatic halls and partitions allow the activities to overlap without any disturbance of sound and space. In addition, the layout of Accordance is flexible as the structures can be disassemble and reassemble only within one night.

There isn’t any preference on how to use the space available, but it is only up to the community to decide on how it is shaped. The essential goal of Accordance is to emphasis different cultures while coalescing culture differences without letting political or wealth diverge it. It hopes to be the platform which channels the power of the community not the power of politics or wealth.

02 Ice Distribution in Bangkok site research
The research was conducted by identifying large Bangkok ice manufacturers and map out their clients on a map. There are three main ice manufacturers . All are found to deliver their products only to their wholesale customers such as local markets, malls and super markets. their distributions are decentralised and centralised depends on the suppliers’ strategies. Ice is a medium to keep the products such as fish and live stocks fresh until its delivery. 04 Macau Meta Realities research on The Vanetian Macau
Macau Meta Realities is a three week summer project with objective to identify elements and techniques required to create ‘a world within the world’. Venetian Macau is a luxury hotel with casinos and its own shopping mall owned by Las Vegas Sands. Unlike its neighbour complexes, Venetian Macau decorates itself with foreign architectural elements and simulates cannel and streets in Venice inside its mall - ‘a sky under the sky’. The end product of the project is to create an education board game.

05 Lotus Archive
collection of individual virtual fund-raising projects
The intention of the project is to explore a new way of tourism using virtual simulation over Ayuthaya ruins. The student must pick a building from Ayuthaya ruin complex and with a strong argument relating to the site and its history, raise an issue they would like to apply to the project. While Ayuthaya ruins is an evidence of the old settlement of Siamese capital city, its current exhibition or educational centre is uninspired compared to international standard in my opinion. However, the outcome of my project is not educational oriented but is rather interactive.

At the end of the project, I completed a design of a system with conceptual rendering image, history research of the building, site analysis, studies and experiments that help introducing myself to virtual space designing.

The Lotus Archive is a non-profitable institution that offers services that fundraise financial aids for the people who are in need of help. It is a virtual platform displaying different fundraising projects by individuals, while visitors are able to donate their money to the projects of their interest. The Lotus Achieve will be exhibited inside Vihara Pra Mongkarabophit, an ancient Thai architect building located in Ayuthaya. Vihara is located next to the old grand palace making it a popular tourist destination in Ayuthaya, with groups of local and foreign tourist constantly touring. The building currently contains a 12.5 metric tall golden Buddha image called Pra Mongkarabopit.

This can be done via a smartphone or a computer with internet access. After registering, the user must propose their charity project and the time duration of their fundraising. After successfully proposing and registering, a hologram of a Lotus will appear with the project name on it. To help tourists decide on which project they will like, the owner of the fundraiser can give out speeches which can be accessed by the tourists once they touch the Lotus hologram. The
The concept is to use 3D hologram projectors to project the virtual Lotus flower inside the Vihara building for the tourists to see. Each of the fundraising project is represented by a single hologram of a Lotus flower, with the project name highlighted underneath it. The projection of the Lotus flower will be scattered around the base of the Buddha image, allowing tourists to perceive each fundraising projects. Lotus Archive
The most important aspect of this project is the essence of Buddhism. The Lotus Archive for example is developed from the composition of the Buddha image, which is the encompassment of thousands of ancient amulets and small scared urns donated by the people. It’s a metaphoric principle signifies the Buddha image as a trace of existence of the donators, while the Lotus symJanny Pimchanok Kimsawat
Moreover, the smoke created by the incense sticks acts as a dimension bridge connecting the spiritual world and physical world. This may to an extent help extenuate the hologram Lotus symbols for those who are able to see beyond this world, with the smoke as a medium of communicating. Before the start of our projects, we have decided to study human behavior in new environment. This was done by recording and mapping pupil dilation. These information received from the research was used to make a 3D model of characteristics and scale of an environment. In addition, we did a small sub project using Cinema4D and Rhinoceros softwares to generate an experience within a virtual space.

reinforced concrete slabs
The assignment was to choose a building and show its structure and service systems, comparing and cooperating information found with theories and techniques learned from the lectures. The work must be printed in A3 sized paper and pinned up for a silent review on the submission date. The students were given two weeks to complete the task. The assignment was assigned in Construction Technology class with 3 credits. Sendia Mediateque has an outstanding structural system. Despite supporting columns not being vertically erected up right, the columns are not merely generic looking columns but they are hollow tubes with white rod bracings holding up heavy slabs. The technique absolutely allows transparency within the building and in between the interior and exterior spaces.

air-conditioning system
The project was first tackled by constructing a 3D model from available floor plans and the building’s structural system information virtually visualizing the possible locations of the air-conditioning system, water system, and of course vertical and horizontal circulations. Actual numbers and sizes of elevators, lights, air conditioning outlets are compared with results of calculations from given equations and charts.

It appears that both service and construction systems of the building do not follow the theories and techniques learned from the lectures. However, they are still decent guidelines. Janny Pimchanok Kimsawat

INDA Design Build for Community 2013 - Sweden
The project is a multidisciplinary collaboration between Chulalongkorn University architecture students, designers, gardeners, chiefs, engineers and artists from Sweden. These varieties of intertwining skills accumulated in a sculpture and a garden created from gluten plastic - renewable materials, located at Rosendal Garden.
Vaults of Pulp sculpture the sculpture representing Rosendal’s and biodynamic gardening ‘s philosophy
Gluten plastic is developed by visionary Swedish company “Innventia”. It comes from wheat from Sweden fields and is mostly used in the baking industry and as feed. Gluten plastic is completely organic and 100% biodegradable like bread. All gluten plastic used in the sculpture was produced by students at Innventia’s chemistry lab, using industrial heat press under 400 bar of pressure and 120 celsius to turn gluten powder into hard rubber in form of sheets.

Rosendal is made with the purpose of being a bio-dynamic garden, which respects its location and surrounding environments. The core of project Vaults of Pulp is to construct a sculpture and a garden that reflects on this practice. Hence, the location where the sculpture and the garden is, is in direct connection to the heart of Rosendal - the compost. In Autumn, the entire sculpture and the garden will biodegrade and become new plants in coming season.

09 The Treaty political sanctuary
Israeli and Palestinian conflict has always been on international attention since the first peace process in Lausanne, Switzerland in 1949. For thousands of years, Temple Mount has been used as a religious site for at least four religions; Judaism, Christianity, Roman religion and Islamic. The evidence on this land indicates wars and chaos throughout its history and The Treaty will signify peace. Referring to the Master Plan Drawing, construction phases are represented by the different colors, darkest being the earliest phase. The Treaty specifically uses a traditional stacking sys-
tem, while also using Temple Mount’s very own Jerusalem stones. Walls are made to divide each rooms to facilitate such great events while not interrupting the existing circulation of the holy sanctuary. Trees on Temple Mount are mapped and learned for its species. The removed trees are marked codes and left as dashed circles. The replanted trees are represented with solid circles with their own individual codes. Shading of rooms are made of selected tree breed that stretches its branches far towards the horizontal sides.
