Trough table

needed: • 8 impregnated beams 240-6,8-6,8 cm. And 2 geïmpreg. planks of 10-200 cm • 3 vials mounting kit for outside and suitable for polystyrene. • Extruded polystyrene, or XPS plates 60-120-5 3 cm. • Approximately 50 screws 10 cm and 50 screws 6 cm. • 1 vial of black sealant on silicone base. • 10 exterior tiles 51-34 cm. • A battery drill. • crosscut circular saw. (Can also with handsaw but more work). • Sealant gun. And gray opaque stain on water basis.

The dimensions are based on the size of the tiles. Four in the length on the long side and three in the width in the short side. The table is then 4 x 51 + 1 cm for the distance between courses = 205 cm. The width 3 x 34 + 1 cm for the distance between courses = 103 cm. The trough in the middle is the remaining space. This, then 2 x 34 cm = 68 cm. 103-68 = 35 cm wide and 2 x 54 = 108. 205-108 = 97 cm. Long. The lying inside bars are mounted so that the tiles can be glued to the edges.

Photo above: The additional support for the built trough. The dimensions are adapted to the dimensions of the trough. Make of the remaining pieces, the angle triangles for extra support. These may be mounted with the screws 6 cm.

Now glue the trough together outside work is 35- 97 cm. Start with the bottom 35-97 and afterward make the sides, the height I set to 20 cm. There will then still at 5 cm of the raised edge. (shelf 10 cm wide)

I saw the XPS panels with an extra long blade in the jigsaw. Bonding with the mounting kit. screw at various points in order to increase the pressure on the glue, this may later again be unscrewed. (This can also with large clamps) Making the inside rough with eg. a steel brush and lubricate with a cement paste.

Make of the planks 10-200, the raised edge of the trough. Let him 5cm above it stabbing. This is to let come out of the trough 4 cm above the table. Promotes the cleaning of the tile next to the trough. Lock with stainless steel screws of 10 cm. Just screw half.

The entire trough painting with gray opaque stain (water-based).

The underside of the table.

The space between the beams I filled with XPS parts, this in order to put under potted plants in the winter. The sides I make sure to close put a antifreeze heater on. Here, the trough is equally placed there in order to see if everything fits.

The trough can be placed, and with the stainless steel screws put to the wooden frame.

The tiles sticking with the mounting kit. And frame 2 times painting with gray stain. The color is the same as the seats. The joints taping and finishing with the jointing kit.

The four cm high edge gives room to clean the table to the trough. No plants and the filling is at your own ideas.
