Without an absolute monarchy, Hobbesbelieved that society would become chaotic and disorderly simply becausehumans by nature are violent and unable to rule themselves. His book Leviathan (1651), Hobbesdescribeshow “nasty, brutish” life would be without a government. Even though our government isn’t basedaround his ideas, he still impacted the way the Founding Fathers established our government.
