Welcome
It is usually spring when change occurs, a refresh of your wardrobe is in order and new season style brightens up your look, but this autumn everything feels fresh and new here at Jarrold. For a start there are some exciting brands launching. Karen Millen is already impressing with its timeless style that gives a nod to the latest trends, and joining this concession on the fashion floor are Marc Aurel, Noa Noa, Tommy Denim and Jarrold exclusives Frieda and Freddie, Milo outerwear and Tommy Hilfiger Woman. We are delighted to welcome Aspinal and Coach handbags to Jarrold this season and looking forward to Kate Spade arriving instore in November. We are also excited to introduce Norfolk brand Siobahn Palmer. Siobahn is creating a new collection of her printed scarves exclusively for Jarrold inspired by our Norfolk coast. We are really excited about surprising and delighting Jarrold's customers from August 2017 onwards. For me, Norfolk is England's secret garden, a combination of lavender fields and miles of stunning sandy beaches and only a few hours from London - this county is truly 'heaven on earth'. My husband's family both live and holiday here - so our time is spent catching up, living an outdoor life and eating delicious local produce. Several other retail colleagues have also chosen to make Norfolk their base; once discovered, it's easy to see why.

Wear the suit jacket with a pair of your favourite jeans, the trousers with a T shirt, jumper, ankle boots or trainers, or dress the suit up with heels and an evening top. The suit is a classic piece for every woman to have in their wardrobe and this autumn there are a lot of suit styles to choose from. I’VE HEARD THAT IT’S ALL ABOUT THE WAIST THIS AUTUMN AND WINTER – HOW, OTHER THAN WEARING A BELT, CAN I ACCENTUATE MY WAIST TO GET THIS SEASON’S SILHOUETTE? Kate says: If you are not a belt kind of gal here are three ways you can enhance your waist: Tuck in your top. Tucking in a top to a skirt or trouser will help define your waist. Opt for a wrap style top or dress. Make sure the wrap highlights the smallest part of
your waist. Jaeger, White Stuff and Hobbs all have great wrap dresses this season. Wear print on your waist. Pattern draws the eye so if you have print across your waist you will accentuate this part of your body. Hobbs has a gorgeous shift dress with printed flowers across the waist and Ted Baker is a great brand for print and its dresses can create the illusion of an hourglass shape on all body shape types. Fiona BURRAGE, Nor-Folk A fashion and interiors photographer and designer, Fiona Burrage is probably better known as one half of the team behind global brand Nor-Folk based in Norwich.
