There is some fantastic innovation this season with many exciting new products that are bang on trend. In the world of makeup, an important change for spring 2017 is a much softer, more subtle approach to the face with contouring, strobing and baking being toned down considerably and a much fresher and more natural look for the complexion coming through – the new Dior Forever Perfect Cushion Foundation will provide this dewy finish. The black cats-eye eyeliner will be toned down, with a shinier look for lids and lots of metallic silver and gold – and even a revival of the frosty blue eyeshadow which will be a Marmite moment for many! Blusher is back with a
vengeance and needs to be seen; brows will be fluffier and less structured; but red lips are definitely here to stay – MAC’s Lady Danger and Ruby Woo are legends and take some beating. Florrie's STYLE TIPS
There are many exciting new season trends that you will see coming through on our women’s fashion floor this month.
Florrie Dunn styles our model Amber in a mix of metallics and pastels from Michael Kors and Oui with statement jewellery from Weekend Max Mara – an exciting new look for spring. This season also lookout for the classic trench coat, a key look from Esprit (see overleaf) as well as a longer version from Weekend Max Mara. Knee length to floor length dresses are also a must in prints and plains from Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors. Tencel denim in blouses and trousers from Levi's, Only, Vero Moda and Esprit are big news this season along with graphic jungle prints as we enter the summer months.

Spring 17 in menswear is full of lightweight fabrics in blue indigos, grey marls and khakis with pops of washed seasonal colours – Sara Clarke, Menswear Buyer. The look is relaxed, modern casualwear mixed with crisp shirting to add a preppy undertone.
