Outtie Shout Outs! (Green just for you)
“McKenzie, I can't describe in words how proud I am of you as my innie. I remember when we first met at that coffee shop and you said you wanted to become more involved in Key Club. Feels like just moments later, I see you walking across the stage at District Convention being installed as Division 9 LTG. Throughout this past term, we grew closer not only as innie and outtie, but also as the greatest of friends. I loved working with you on the board, laughing with you on Key Club inside jokes, annoying you with my Harry Potter ignorance, and lastly, crying with you as we retired. Thanks for such an amazing year. I feel like I have known you for so much longer than just two years. I know the future holds even more amazing adventures for the two of us together! I love you, my fire breathing dragon.” “McKenzie! This year has been a year full of memories thanks to you. From tackling you every time I see you in the hall ways to you trying to actually do something about it, I have thoroughly enjoyed your company, as I'm sure you've enjoyed mine. I really wanted to do a shout out to you, but I'll be honest, it's so difficult for me to be nice to you! So please disregard the rudeness because behind every mean word lies my love for your beautiful, soul-snatching, red hair. For real though, I'm going to miss you next year, and I hope you have a wonderful time in Portland!”
“In order to provide full disclosure, I will begin by saying McKenzie Ervin is not only one seriously fantastic young lady, she is also my daughter. In my combined role as Mom and Omak Kiwanis president, I had the pleasure of enjoying McKenzie's commitment to Division 9 in two different dimensions. During the last year I watched her pour herself into projects like Eastside Rally and DCON planning doing all of her Key Club projects with efficiency and grace. However, as her mom, I need to thank her local Key Club and the 2013-2014 District Board, because for whatever she gave to Key Club, I watched her gain even more in skills development but most importantly friendships. Thank you McKenzie for your tireless efforts serving Division 9 and our District. But I also extend heartfelt gratitude to each person who travelled this journey along with McKenzie this year. The inspiration I absorb from our Key Club youth leaders cannot be measured.” “McKenzie has been an absolutely amazing Lieutenant Governor, District Board Member and friend throughout the last year. She is always super optimistic and crazy fun to be around. Her type of dedication to Key Club could dominate the service world and truly make an impact in volunteerism. McKenzie, thank you for being so cheery and working so hard, with a smile always in tow.”

District Convention Dear Pacific Northwest District, The ending of District Convention is always hard, but it also marks the beginning of another Key Club year and another year of service. If you have not already met me I am Lisa Antonio, and I am honored to have the chance to serve as your District Governor for the next year. I am privileged to be leading such a diverse and enthusiastic district and I am excited to start building upon our strengths and creating new solutions for our district’s weaknesses. In this upcoming year I want to focus on clubs and members. I want to make sure clubs are thriving and increasing not only membership, but active membership. I want each club member to know the District Board is there to serve the members. I am looking forward to meeting all of you, and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me via email, Facebook, or telephone! Hi, everyone. My name’s Ik Hoon Jung from Southridge High School in Beaverton, OR (Div. 65), and I’m excited beyond words to serve as your District Secretary. I’ve been an enthusiastic member of Key Club since freshman year, and it is truly a dream come true to be in this great position. I hope my term can bring about great positive personal growth in both myself and other Key Clubbers, and I won’t let you down!
Hello Key Clubbers! My name is Aneesh Pappu and I am the incoming District Treasurer. I am so honored and grateful to serve you all for the 2014-2015 term and I look forward to what we will accomplish together! One of my main goals is to actively educate club treasurers so that dues collection is easy and efficient for all clubs in our district. I also plan to effectively monitor the budget of the board and to oversee all fundraising efforts for the district project this year. In addition, I intend to play a very active role in working with growth committees on the district board to increase membership within our district. I want you all to know that I am always available to assist you with any and all problems that you may have in your clubs. Feel free to give me a call anytime, even if you just want to chat, and add me on Facebook! I look forward to meeting you all this year.
This coming year for our district is going to be a legendary one, and it’s an honor to be a part of it as your 2014-2015 District Editor. I’m so excited to be involved in your newsletters and giving THE ESPRESSO, our district newsletter, the publicity it deserves. I will make it as inclusive, informative, and exciting as possible. This position combines my love for service and design and I can say confidently that this year, not only will we Key Clubbers feel good, but we will also look good in all of the publications in our district!
