EMEX 2015 Sales Brochure

THE event for everyone responsible for reducing their organisation’s energy consumption.

In Partnership with:

An introduction from Lord Redesdale Energy prices are likely to spike next year and this will have a disproportionate effect on companies’ profit margins. Boards need to understand the risk of not taking energy management seriously. EMEX will put forward the solutions. EMEX is the energy management show that connects all energy users with leading experts, policy makers, suppliers and technical solutions. This marketplace includes a free to attend conference programme that will help you control energy costs, gain industry insights, source innovations, share knowledge and stay up to date with the latest and upcoming legislative changes and how these are affecting businesses in the UK. Their focus will be:

1. Energy Management as a Profession.

3. Energy Use in the Built Environment.

Training | Career Development | Best Practice

Role of Facility Managers | ESOS | Auditing | M&V

2. Utilities and Energy Services.

4. Energy Management Solutions.

TPIs | ENPc | Water Efficiency

Innovation | Technology | Green IT | Data

EMEX is the major opportunity to bring the commercial and industrial consumers of energy together with manufacturers and suppliers. This is not just a show about the price of energy, it is a show about understanding its use.

Excel, London n 11-12th November 2015

The Energy Managers Association Brings Us Closer To Our Marketplace The Energy Managers Association (EMA) was set up by Lord Redesdale in June 2012 to act as the voice of the Energy Management profession. Lord Redesdale, who has worked in energy policy for a number of years, was surprised to find a lack of cohesion in a field that will be key to the UK meeting its energy requirements.

The EMA aims to:

• Improve the standing of the Energy Management profession and those working within it. • Establish best-practice in Energy Management. • Put Energy Management at the heart of British business. The EMA works closely with DECC, DEFRA and BIS so that future policy works for practitioners rather than just on paper.

A Topical Seminar Programme Over 60

Free Sessions More than 100 Speakers 16 Hours of Networking The EMA’s Strategy Board endorses the show, helps to define its content and secures the most relevant speakers. Get involved in our theatres. Call for Papers will be issued in Spring 2015. Please visit the contact page of the web site to complete the form online or contact Edita Krupova at edita.krupova@theema.org.uk I found the event invaluable, attending a number of the seminar sessions and making some excellent contacts – some of whom I am confident we will work with in the future. The exhibition was managed fantastically and was both enjoyable and educational. Environment & Sustainability Manager at Northern Gas Networks

IPSEM Institute of Public Sector Estates Management

EMEX was a very positive experience for me with a good selection of talk topics and speakers, relevant to what is happening in energy management; a good range of stands; a good layout with networking area and a “quiet corner” with a few comfy seats; good publicity, information.
