Holiday Safety Tips! Prevent Kitchen Fires! •
NEVER leave cooking unattended. If you need to leave the kitchen, even for a short time, shut the stove off.
•
ESTABLISH a “Safe Zone” in the kitchen where the children are not allowed to play near the stove.
•
KEEP pot and pan handles turned in so they don’t get bumped and knocked over.
•
KEEP combustible materials such as dish towels, curtains and paper towels at least 1 metre away from the stove.
•
