MUNICPAL ELECTIONS This is a reminder that Nominations can be filed for the 2018 Municipal Elections beginning on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 through to 2:00 p.m. on Friday July 27, 2018 (Nomination Day). Nominations for the following offices are to be filed with the Town of Gravenhurst Clerk, or designate: Mayor, District & Town Councillors Nominations for the following office are to be filed with the District of Muskoka Clerk, or designate: District Chair
Appointments are not required, however, are recommended. Please be advised that the 2018 Interim Tax Bills, for all property classes, were mailed on or before February 20th, 2018.
The due date is Thursday March 29, 2018. The following payment options are now available for our taxpayers: by Mail, Where you Bank, In Person, or via the After Hours Drop Box. If you have not received your bill, please contact the Tax Department immediately. Unfortunately, failure to receive a tax bill does not constitute reason for non-payment.
