NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS Please be advised that the 2014 Final Tax Bills for all property classes have been mailed. The due date is Friday August 29, 2014. The following payment options are available for the convenience of our taxpayers: BY MAIL: Please make your cheque payable to the Town of Gravenhurst. Cheques postdated to August 29, 2014 will be accepted. All mail is date stamped upon receipt, this will be considered the date of payment. WHERE YOU BANK: • • •
By Teller, date of Teller’s stamp is date of payment. (A service charge may apply) By ATM (Automated Teller Machine) By Telephone or Internet Banking, from the convenience of your own home 24 hours a day. Please contact your financial institution for more details. If your bank does not accept a 19 digit account number, the last four digits “0000” may be omitted.
AFTER HOURS: Payment may be made 24 hours a day at the municipal drop-off box, 5 Pineridge Gate, Gravenhurst. Please do not put cash in the drop-off box. IN PERSON: Payment may be made in person at the Town Office, 3-5 Pineridge Gate, Gravenhurst, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We accept cash, cheque or debit card payments. If you have not received your bill, please contact the Town of Gravenhurst Tax Department immediately. Failure to receive a tax bill does not constitute reason for nonpayment.

OPERA HOUSE 80th Season
Please note the Gravenhurst Public Library will be closed on Thursday September 4. The Library Board and Staff will be participating in a special strategic plan working session on this day. The Library will reopen for regular hours on Friday September 5. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. GPL library card holders who wish to use Internet or wifi can do so at the Bracebridge Public Library on September 4.
BOOK SALE AT THE LIBRARY
Used Book Sale - Saturday September 6, to Saturday September 13, at the Gravenhurst Library. Book donations for the sale are being accepted at the library starting August 25th. Books must be current and in good shape.

COUNCIL MEETINGS September Meeting
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY LOCAL BUILD On Saturday August 23rd, firefighters from the Gravenhurst Fire Department will contribute their time and skills to a Habitat for Humanity Muskoka home building project at 369-2 Muskoka Beach Road in Gravenhurst. The duplex, when completed will provide safe, affordable homes for two Muskoka families. The community is welcome to have a look and cheer on the team throughout the day.
