Notice of Temporary Service Disruption Due to scheduling conflicts all Business, Marriage and Lottery Licensing Services provided by the Town of Gravenhurst will not be available the week of June 29 – July 03, 2015. Full services will resume on Monday July 06, 2015.

DAISY AWARDS The Gravenhurst Daisy Award recognizes residents, businesses and groups whose outstanding efforts have produced beautiful front yard gardens or landscapes that contribute to a more attractive neighbourhood and community. Not only are the awards meant to recognize property owners for their efforts, but they are also meant to encourage other residents and businesses to upgrade and beautify their property. The public is encouraged to nominate any front yard gardens or landscapes in Gravenhurst, visible from the road, that you feel have added to the sense of pride that you have for our community. Forms can be found at the Town Office, Centennial Centre, Muskoka Lakes Gardens & More and Home Hardware Garden Centre, as well as online at www.gravenhurst.ca. Nominations will be accepted until Friday, July 10, 2015

MUSIC ON THE BARGE “Music on the Barge” returns to Gull Lake Rotary Park in Gravenhurst this Sunday, with the ORILLIA SILVER BAND Sunday, June 28th | 7:30 pm Neil Barlow - Conductor
Volunteers from the Gravenhurst Horticultural Society will be judging and awarding gardens on Thursday, July 16th starting at 9 am. Through Communities In Bloom, six top gardens will receive a special recognition and prize pack from Scott’s Miracle-gro. A list of winning properties will be posted on the Town website, as well as photos on the Town Facebook page.
