Seeking Committee Members

Licensed Docks at Muskoka Wharf The Town of Gravenhurst has available boat slips for lease at the Muskoka Wharf for the upcoming season, in Ditchburn Bay. Three types of licenses are under consideration: • • •

A one-season licensed term at a current rate of $2,035.00 plus H.S.T., A five-season licensed term at a current rate of $9,335.00 plus H.S.T., Or a ten-season licensed term at a current rate of $16,970.00 plus H.S.T.

Interested parties must complete and submit a License Agreement. A copy of the License Agreement, policy and fees are available on the Town website www.gravenhurst.ca or at the Town Office during regular business hours. The Town of Gravenhurst is seeking individuals to be appointed to the Property Standards Committee. Those interested must meet the following criteria: • • • •

At least eighteen (18) years of age; A Canadian Citizen; A Resident of Gravenhurst; AND Must not be an employee of the Town of Gravenhurst or the Library Board

RESEARCH ASSISTANT-YOUTH INTERN One (1) year, Full-Time Contract Position

Composition: Five (5) citizen members Meet as required Relevant Legislation: Building Code Act; Statutory Powers and Procedure Act Purpose is to hear appeals from the orders of the Property Standards Officer and make decisions to confirm, modify or rescind the order and to extend time for compliance with the order

Interested applicants should provide a letter expressing their interest, as well as a brief biography outlining past experience and involvement with community groups and committees to the undersigned no later than 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 20th, 2015. - Building the Customer Experience- March 24 The Gravenhurst Downtown Revitalization Committee is hosting this unique business education opportunity. This session is designed specifically for the Gravenhurst Business Community. As part of the revitalization initiative, this event is available FREE of charge for all Gravenhurst business owners and managers. Seating is limited, so early registration is recommended!
