HOLIDAY FIRE SAFETY Let’s all work together to have a Safe Holiday Season! 1. Make sure your home is equipped with the required number of working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. 2. Make sure the alarms work. Dust, vacuum and test once a month. 3. Change your clocks – Change your batteries. 4. Have a Home Escape Plan. Practice your Home Escape Plan. Know the Drill. 5. Ensure this is a family activity. Make sure everybody understands the meaning behind it and participates.

Remember: Smoke Alarms Saves Lives. For further information visit Gravenhurst.ca/fire or call 905-687-3414.

Staying home is the best way to protect yourself and others. Trips outside of the home should only be for essential reasons (work, school, groceries/pharmacy, health care, assisting vulnerable individuals, or exercise and physical activity). Do not visit any other household or allow visitors in your home. If you live alone, you can have close contact with only one other household.

We thank all applicants for their interest in the Town of Gravenhurst, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Full jobs descriptions can be found at

www.gravenhurst.ca/jobs No phone calls please.

WINTER MAINTENANCE STANDARD DID YOU KNOW THAT the Town ‘winter maintains’ roads in accordance with the Minimum Maintenance Standards (Ont. Reg.239/02). This standard sets out the requirements for patrolling and snowplowing based on the class of road. This includes the amount of time that is allowed to pass before the snowplowing is to commence, as identified by the class of road.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

AND A SAFE HOLIDAY SEASON TO YOU AND YOURS!
