NOTICE TO RESIDENTS / PROPERTY OWNERS Please be advised that the 2020 Interim Tax Bills, for all property classes, were mailed on or before February 21st, 2020. The due date is Tuesday March 31, 2020. The following payment options are now available for the convenience of our taxpayers: BY MAIL: Please make your cheque payable to the Town of Gravenhurst. Cheques postdated to March 31, 2020 will be accepted. All mail is date stamped upon receipt, this will be considered the date of payment.
OPEN YOUR DOORS TO THE STARS! Summer theatre in Canada started right here in Muskoka over 85 years ago and the Gravenhurst Opera House is very proud to continue that important tradition. We need your help in providing affordable accommodations for our cast members and other summer theatre personnel. WHEN: June 8 to October 2 LENGTH OF STAY: Anywhere from 2 weeks to 7 weeks SUGGESTED RATE: $100 to $120 per week If you are interested in supporting the arts and making a little extra income, www.gravenhurstoperahouse.com have a place for them to sleep, a washroom to use and if possible, a place to prepare their own food, you are a perfect fit! This is an amazing opportunity to support some of Canada’s top theatre professionals and help support the continuation of professional summer theatre in your town. Please allow 2-3 days for on-line transactions. AFTER HOURS: Payment may be made 24 hours a day at the municipal drop-off box, 3-5 Pineridge Gate, Gravenhurst. Please do not put cash in the drop-off box. IN PERSON: Payment may be made in person at the Town Office, 3-5 Pineridge Gate, Gravenhurst, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. We accept cash, cheque or interac payments. Please note we do NOT accept Credit Cards for the payment of taxes. If you have not received your bill, please contact the Town of Gravenhurst Tax Department immediately. Unfortunately, failure to receive a tax bill does not constitute reason for nonpayment.
