Every week the Chicago Center for Literature and Photography (CCLaP) releases a small PDF feature of an interesting individual photographer, later gathered and re-released through our monthly magazine at Amazon and iTunes. CCLaP's feature for January 18th, 2013 is Chicagoan Katherine Hodges, who for the last six months has been taking shots all over the Midwest of malls with occupancy rates of only 50 to 10 percent, full enough to stay open but with spooky, abandoned interiors that often look like dystopian science-fiction movies.
