Success Story: PythaGURUS MBA Admissions: Another Applicant Admitted to Rotman: Personal Note and suggestions by the Candidate PythaGURUS recently created success in one of the top schools in Canada and wanted to share the feedback they received directly from the applicant. Many applicants start with the thought process that a TOP school will be out of their reach either academically or financially. This is not the right approach to start with. There are applicants who will actually stereotype themselves as “LESS ACCOMPLISHED” even before starting the GMAT Journey. And if a “LESS ACCOMPLISHED” person starts preparing for GMAT, he will actually get a score that is not worth considering, and will be admitted to schools that do not offer jobs. It is really a circle very well tied into your story of MBA. And you may not believe it, but it reflects. There was recently a story written for an applicant who was headed to a tier 2 school, and he was later admitted to tier 1 school in US with a lot of scholarship. Let us see what the applicant had to say: My MBA journey started last year when, after visiting most of the Admission Consultants in the town, I landed up at PythaGURUS. Since I did not know much about B-schools and admissions process, not to mention its rigors, I thought I would crack it easily. But soon this myth was dispelled. As Jatin handheld me through the process and introduced me to the finer aspects of application-networking with the Alums and Student Ambassadors, asking the right questions, writing the resume- slowly but surely, I started to realize that each application demanded commitment and clarity, and by no means was it as easy as I thought it would be. Having said that, through regular tos-and-fros with Jatin and his team, I slowly gained confidence in my abilities and candidature. Interactive volleys while editing essays were extremely productive and made me realize that nuances are all that matter. Each line creates a vacuum that the next one fills, and the overall write-up reads like an integrated piece. This is an important learning for any applicant. Jatin is straightforward, accommodating yet disciplined and extremely aware. He was quick to grasp that I was from a non-traditional background and required to do my 'homework' on industry-specific information. He thus stressed on the significance for me to network with peers and seniors who had already been through the B-school experience. I give full credit to Jatin and his team of dedicated experts for my success with Rotman School of Management. I would recommend PythaGURUS to every serious candidate at any stage of the Application Process. I wish PythaGURUS the very best of luck in all future endeavors.
