Javier Quislant Garcia 1984, Spain. Search for a hyperlinking of all elements in a musical work. In his compositions there is always a preliminary question on concepts of order, relationship and temporality. He began studying music in a self-taught, always with an interest focused on understanding the processes of creation, relationship - order of musical material, such interest, results in a constant questioning about the multiple discourse variables oered within the framework of temporality. After his formative self-taught stage (always with the piano as principal instrument), formed himself also as a guitarist in several modern music groups and bands. Outcome of the interest to try understanding the processes of musical creation decides to turn his training and begins studying at the conservatory, where is formed as a pianist, as well as his interest in music creation continued growing. In this period also begins to study saxophone. After the formation stage at the Conservatory decided to devote himself to the world of musical composition, abandoning the study of interpretation. This leads him to Barcelona, the city in wich he studied composition with the composer Agustín Charles Soler during four years. Currently, he is studying a Master in Composition at the University of Arts in Graz, Austria, with composer Beat Furrer as well as with Georg Friedrich Haas and Pierluigi Billone. During these years his training has also been influenced by various composers (such as Helmut Lachenmann, Salvatore Sciarrino, Georges Aperghis, Rebecca Saunders, RaphaÍl Cendo, Kaija Saariaho, among others) and performers (soloists such Klangforum Wien, Zahir Ensemble, Bcn 216 Group, Marcuss Weiss, Eva Furrer, Dimitrios Polisoidis) with whom he has come in contact through various courses, conferences and masterclasses.
