1 INTERPRETING THE PALIMPSEST

Industrial Museum + VC School

A palimpsest is a manuscript page, either from a scroll or a book, from which the text has been scraped or washed off so that the page can be reused for another document. Architecture is always connected to the past but it is related to the future as well, we need the past because we need memory, an excessive tradition may kill you or paralyze you, the project aim to achieve balance between memory ”past” the curiosity for “invention“ the unknown”.The project proposes an industrial museum + VC School, unashamedly, caters for the modern age and places adaptation, flexibility and technology at the center of its agenda.
