Kalatmak Karigar (Jay Jagad)

The first word in my tale is “Bhavnagar”- my hometown. I was reared in a middle-class Indian household in the state of Gujarat where business happens to be the pelf bringer. My mother has been my ideal, she happens to be well acquainted with art. Following in her footsteps was as easy as water traversing downhill. Observing her tackle various issues in all steps of life impacted my way of dealing with stuff. The skirmish between my heart and mind raged on whether art was a stable career option. I found a way out of the series of dilemmas when I stumbled on- “Architecture is the mother of all arts.” And thus, my Architectural journey began. Now that I have studied it, I can firmly agree- Architecture is “a” world in itself- a beautiful harmony between variegated mediums, textures, and emotions. My motto is to design habitable art that leads one on a journey. Life at varsity brought with it the opportunity to surround me preponderantly with creative-heads. Being an impulse-driven individual, energy bursts, sudden inspirations hit perpetually. Perhaps, it is my duty to harness them and put all the positive energy to good use. Oft times, I find myself creating comic characters with micron pens. Having conducted workshops and put up art exhibitions, I am certainly confident about my art direction skills. Whenever I am not doing any of the above I look for new and undiscovered trajectories for me. I have worked on the interior design of cafes in Jaipur. Stepping up the academic barriers, practically working with people, understanding their work ethics literally enthralled me. I consider myself a ”forever student”, and wish to remain eager to add to my previous knowledge and acquire new whenever and wherever possible.
