If you want to set up a Two Shot of your host and talent on a

zoom call prior to your production, you can do it several ways. There’s an old saying “Work smart, don’t work hard”...

The following is a smart way to set up your two shot, using both ME1 & ME2 on the switcher:

1. In ME2, set ME1 PGM in the Preview bus 2. In ME1, select Key 1 Cut

3. In ME1, select Key 1 Select (KEY1 SEL)

4. In ME1, select DVE as the key type

5. In ME1, select CAM 1 (or whichever camera is on your host) for the in the Key/Aux Bus

6. Adjust the size and position of the source to your liking using the control knobs above ME1

7. Now set your second source for the two shot by pressing Key Cut2 in ME1

8. Hold down Key2 Select key and tap the Key 1 Select Key • This copies the settings of key 1 and “pastes” them into Key 2

9. To separate the sources and create the two shot move the position of Key 2 to the right on its X axis by using the control knobs above ME1 10. Select Utility PC on the KEY/AUX bus

11. In ME1, select BG in the Program bus to set a solid background • You can adjust the color by using the control knobs above ME1

12. During your production, if you want to cut to this shot, use the ME1 Pgm source in ME 2
