DESIGN STATEMENT : Architecture for me is taking the pyramid of needs of human civilization where food , shelter and clothing comes first , and mould the shelter to fulfill the social and mental needs as well . Architecture is creating a positive impact among its user by engaging their sense and reinforcing social interactions . The structure creates a ripple effect in its surroundings ,thus the source of ripple , if moulded by the site itself ensures an impact accepted and beneficial to the citizens.

kind intepretation centre for astronomy in rural district of lonar
SEMESTER : 10
DESIGN : The design focuses on aiding As-
tro-tourism and employment in lonar district , Maharashtra through storytelling enhanced by concepts of cosmic integration and phenomenology . journey begins at the start of universe ; big bang and ends with the meteorite impact leading to formation of lonar crater. Astronomical knowledge is imparted with 4 kinds of spaces which deliver different form of learning ; experience centre , learning block , apply block and embrace block. All characterized by the chaos to order rhythm and geometries formed in the universe
The story is conveyed through tactility creating emotions, circulation leading to mystery , astronomical scales ,volumes , darkness and sky trials creating metaphorical as well as tangible link to the universe above .
7
SITE ANALYSIS
Site is located near lonar lake , as its the only basaltic rock meteorite crater formed in asia . The significance of lake along with the need of the rural area for tourist development lead to the development of site amongst the centre of public and residential zoning adjacent to a highway .The location , infrastructure available , need of the topic and the district lead to the program development . 8
USER - SPACE- TIME ANALYSIS
Mind map was created to find links between intanbile infinite/perpetual movement of universe and tangible architectural design principles or elements. Thus SCALE , CONTRAST , RHYTHM , HIERARCHY , AXIS AND SYMMETRY were incoporated further

concept evolved from dividing learning into formal encompassing lecture hall , libraries and informal including interpretation center as two focal points , emitting knowledge . ripples of spacetime were mapped inspired by gravitation field of blackholes and thus a vault or spherical section was obtained . The spaces were further given form from chaos to order of universe evolution by changing the grid creating small punctures/ gaps between giving rise to variety of relations with sky leading to sky trail.

before big bang - steps are used to denote the unkown laws of physics before formation of universe through their orientation and tactility . Cosmic dome and statues are revealed in bits to add interest to move ahead . Big bang hall - slanted wall and narrow space is used to depict hot dense infinetely small moment in space time with slit of light from above highlighting the texture of basalt cladded wall . elementary particles hall - wooden columns represent each particle of standard model of physics . User circulation is channeled in a way they subconsciously follow the path of subdivision of particles of standard model using arrangement elements. Project Brief included Master planning , residential , resort , banquet and multiplex theatre concept development . Plan was developed keeping in mind the existing structures , green spots and ponds . As an intern my contribution was designing landscaping elements like plaza , pond , entrance gate and executing sketches by associate architect into autocad drawings and sketchup model along with concept , graphic representation and illustration 31

PROJECT : The aim was to design an in-
tepretation centre for migratorary birds , communicating information using different means .
SEMESTER : 6
DESIGN : The language of birds is WIND
CENTRE
, the architecture reflected this by its form generation . After intense research I chose to spread information about CENTRAL ASIAN FLYWAY as there are 4/5 rest stops for birds taking their annual journey , in India . These 5 REST STOPS are represented using 5 ATRIUM around which ramp gives the user BIRD’S EYE VIEW of the ecosystem of the stops as if they are flying with the bird . RAMPS placed for vertical circulation represents swift movement of birds. There are installations showing the threats faced by birds , which by engaging different SENSE create a lasting MEMORY in the user’s mind.
User is made to go through the JOURNEY of birds , CONTEMPLATE it in the viewing deck and REFLECT on it by the steps back to the ground placed strategically to provide view of the entire structure , as well as create a relax-

there are 3 MAJ of the year , the it flow across it SITE N.M.M.C WATER BODY
CBD , NAVI MUMBAI
Site dictated my form and space programming by studying wind , sun and traffic analysis. Being located opposite to N.M.M.C headquarters . The design was aimed get attention of government and visitors towards nature.
SITE CONTEXT
EMOTION MODEL : textures and views are used as stimulus which creates concern appreciated by the user and thus an emotion is created in the mind of user which in turn creates a lasting memory . CONCRETE
Every ATRIUM below it has a landscaping element which mimics the ECOSYSTEM and can serve two functions , as anINFORMATIONAL EXHIBIT for the user who sees it from the ramp above and as a FOCAL POINTS visually for cafes and library below

SEMESTER :5 DESIGN
: STUDIO LETI , a resort located far
from the chaotic energy of the city is meant for relaxation and peace among the mountains . The entire universe is made of constantly flowing energy . the SEVEN CHAKRAS represent the centre of energy wheel in human body . They provide the right balance for every part of your mind , body and spirit . COLOUR being a universal language , each chakra is represented using colour as there is a connection between colour and EMOTIONS of the body . Thus , this design inspired by the effects and significance of energy and colour in human mind uses CONCENTRIC CIRCLES which radiate positivity along with a main pathway linking all functions and creating a journey with different focal points set across the site.

The site chosen was STUDIO LETI , in UTTARAKHAND, studio leti is a resort offering serene views of the mountains and thus relaxes one’s mind and soul the 7 chakras are represented concentrically on the site assigning appropriate functions and representive colour to create a pyschologically happier environment for the user
STABILITY CHAKRA showcased with an aesthetic assembly of rocks and sand to reflect the textures of surrounding mountains
7 primary CHAKRAS are the basis of human existence and represent various aspects of our lives .

MAJOR NODES AGE OF THE SHOP
TYPE OF SHOP
The results showed us that the image of itwari market is very important despite many issues faced the traders do not plan on shifting elsewhere due to the OWNERSHIP OF THE SHOP
ITWARI HERITAGE MARKET STUDY SUPERVISED BY : CRUIPA , nagpur PROJECT :
ISSUES FACED
Most of the shops were owned , they were bought when the prices were not high .
the only major issue is of parking which is solved by customers coming by foot or motorcycles .
SURVEY RESULTS
my team of three conducted
study of old markets in nagpur aimed at learning the working style , spatial requirements , expectations and problems face by the GARMENT TRADERS in GANDHIBAGH .
SURVEYS were conducted of 15% of the total shops in the area within 3 days , to interact with the traders to find out the problems , also the importance of the image of gandhibagh itwari market for their sales and to study the EXISTING STORE TYPOLOGIES based on spatial configurations, functions and size .
