Division 48 May is here!

In this issue! Intro ............................... 1 Recent News ............... 2 Eliminate Project ......... 3

May is here, and that means that school is almost over! This is the time of year that “senioritis” is hanging in the warm spring air. The school year will be over before we know it, so stay focused for a little while longer! Good luck on those AP tests! School may be over soon, but Key Club is not. Key Club does not end just because summer arrives. There are plenty of opportunities for service throughout the summer. If you need any summer project ideas, text or email me! Or if you already have awesome ideas, I would love to hear them.

DCON: April 3-6th 2014 This will be super fun to do! The point of having a mascot is for spirit. At DCON there are spirit competitions, and at divisional events we will use it as well! Our colors can basically be anything, but our official ones will be the red, yellow, and dark blue, just like on the first page of this newsletter.

5th of every month: Secretary report due 10th of every month: Newsletter comes out!

Are you a Senior?? Ready for DCON already?! The theme for this year has been decided: “Service in the City” And remember, DCON this year will be at the Seattle Convention Center instead of the Double Tree Hilton.

There are Key Club Scholarships available! Contact me for more details. Life after Key Club: Circle K is the next step after Key Club. It is college students volunteering through the K circle, just like Key Club! Look for a club at your potential schools!

Eastside Rally All of the divisions on the East side of the District will be attending this rally. This is MANDATORY for ALL OFFICERS to attend, and extremely encouraged for members! What is Eastside Rally? It’s basically an extremely mini version of DCON. There will be officer training, along with games and competitions. There

will be super cool t-shirts or crew necks available for purchase. Bring some extra money, because you’ll want it, trust me! There will be a dunk tank (you can bring extra clothes if you would like to get dunked) and a Miracle Minute to try to raise the most money. The top 3 divisions will get to pie their Lt. Gs!!! And I know everyone wants to see me get pied, so bring money!
