MANTI (TURKISH RAVIOL I ) Ingredients : WonTon wraps Ground beef Onion Garlic 1 egg Bread crumbs Tomatoe paste Butter Yogurt Salt & pepper Paprika flakes Parsley Dried mint Beef stock Red Pepper Paste Pita bread
In a large mixing bowl knead beef,onion,2-3 cloves of minced garlic, chopped parsley ,bread crumbs,egg,salt & pepper till very smooth and pasty. Put one teaspoonful of meat filling into each wonton wrap , bringing the four corners of wrap together and squeezing with fingers , sticking the corners together . Arrange them in an oven baking pan , brushed with melted butter .Bake them in medium hot oven , for 25 minutes , until they are lightly browned . Pour over them 6 cups of hot meat sock , butter and tomatoe and red pepper paste paste . Cook in low heat until the stock is partially
absorbed and pasties are well cooked. Spread over them , on individual plates , beaten yogurt with crushed garlic , some salt . Pour over heated butter mixed with paprika flakes and sprinkle with dried mint . Serve at once with warm pita bread wedges .
