For 4 generations Jaymark Jewelers has a proud history of crafting fine jewelry in the Hudson Valley. The jewelry we create in our factory showroom in Cold Spring is a presentation of modern heirlooms brought to life using traditional old world techniques integrated with modern technology. In creating the jewelry for the Bespoke Catalogue 2015 we have taken great care in searching and sourcing once in a lifetime gemstones and pairing them with one of a kind designs. Each of our designs comes from the vision and collaboration of Katie & James who draw inspiration from their family legacy and the beauty of the Hudson Valley.
This year’s Bespoke catalogue 2015 features six breath taking designs each with its own story to tell. As you view our creations we invite you to imagine yourself under crisp blue winter skies, or walking through the earthy glow of an autumnal landscape. Most importantly, we hope you enjoy our creations as much as we enjoy crafting them for you.
Pyramid of the Sun
For their tenth birthdays both Katie & James traveled to Mexico with their grandfather. During their unforgettable travels they explored the ancient city of Teotihuacan. Dotted with stepped pyramids, these memories sparked the inspiration for this design. The Pyramid of the Sun is crafted from both white and yellow gold to accent its architectural sides. Cascading up the ring are .93 cts in diamonds all tapering towards the 1.43 ct brilliant diamond in the center.

Autumnal Vista Every autumn thousands of people flock to the Hudson Valley to view the magical changing of the leaves. Many choose to view the valley from the Bear Mountain Bridge. The bridge towers over the valley, its struts, wires, and peaks create a strong contrast between the organic yellows and oranges in the rolling hills flanking the Hudson River. In this piece we have incorporated the structure of the bridge as it acts as a viewing platform for the fall colors beneath. The Autumnal Vista is a yellow gold pendant set with .64 cts of diamonds leading up to the peak of the bridge. Set below the peak is an 11.08 ct citrine cut by world renowned lapidary artist John Dyer.

Total Eclipse During a total eclipse the world goes momentarily dark blanketing the region in an eerie false dusk. A beautiful halo surrounds the moon displaying the suns bright corona. A total eclipse is rare, fleeting, and unique to each person who is lucky enough to view one. Made from white and yellow gold, this ring shows the contrast between sun and moon in overlapping polished and .57cttw diamond encrusted ribbons with cascading rays emanating out from the center. Set in the center is a 9.25 ct sunstone, cut by world renowned lapidary artist John Dyer, to display a deeply saturated core and a bright playful circumference.

Ripple This piece pulls beauty from the simple act of dropping a stone into a calm body of water. The stone sits just below the surface of the blue water ringed by the initial shockwave. Gliding out from the center are concentric circles fading away in to calm.
Ripple is crafted from white gold to emulate the light flashing off the surface of rippling pond. Set in the center surrounded by milgran is a 2.03 ct velvety blue oval sapphire.

Winter Sky Imagine yourself outside on a crisp winter’s morning looking up at the bright blue sky. As the wind blows, smoke from a nearby chimney rises, swirls, and vanished. This pendant is a reflection of that winter morning through its endless blue and surrounding billowy white wisps.
Winter’s Sky is crafted from white gold. One half of the piece is set with .49 cts in diamonds while the other half is spiraled metal finished in a heavy filigree pattern. Set in the center is a vibrant 25.67 ct blue topaz cut by world renowned lapidary artist John Dyer.

Hive When winter breaks and spring is in full bloom the air is filled with the buzzing of bees, the caretakers of the natural flora. They build their delicate hives as a castle to guard against the elements and protect their treasure, an amber core of honey.
Hive is created using a base of yellow gold and white gold honey comb patterned inlays surrounding a hexagonal cut deep amber 2.50 ct Malaya Garnet.
