Military families face unique challenges…
Military Family Life Counselors provide a unique service! Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) program provides short-term, non-medical counseling to Service Members and their families at no cost. MFLC provides psycho-educational support and augments existing military services while offering flexible service hours on or off base. MFLC can provide services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. MFLCs keep no records. Licensed clinical providers assist Service Members and their families with issues they may face throughout the cycle of deployment - from leaving their loved ones and possibly living and working in harm's way to reintegrating with their family and community. MFLC can help with relationships, crisis intervention, stress management, grief, and other individual and family issues. Coping with the challenges of military life ensures that these issues do not detract from operational readiness and builds strong communities. For more information, call (843) 963-8883.
