Holly Jolly Cocktails

THE HOLIDAYS ARE A TIME for family, friends, and food. What better way to create memories with family and friends than over a fun holiday cocktail? The cocktails I have created are all easy to make and can be made at any home bar or kitchen counter.

The Holiday Apple

1.5 oz Botanist Gin

3 oz Prosecco

2 oz Apple Juice (unfiltered)

Build this drink in a wine glass (the wider the style, the better) filled with ice. Garnish with fresh apple slices dusted with cinnamon and nutmeg.

Chocolate Covered Cherry Old Fashion

2 oz Bird Dog Chocolate Whiskey

½ oz Cherry Infused Simple Syrup

3 dashes of El Guapo Spiced Cocoa bitters

Queen Anne Chocolate Covered Cherry Garnish

Combine all ingredients in a highball glass, fill with ice, then stir.

This cocktail is inspired by the special childhood holiday memory of my granny going to Woolworths and getting us a box of chocolate-covered cherries.

PISTACHIO- TINI

1.5 oz espresso

2 oz pistachio syrup

3 oz heavy whipping cream

Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin filled with ice; shake vigorously, then strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with crumbled pistachio.

The Grinch

1.5 oz Don Q Coconut Rum

1.5 oz Melon Liquor or Midori

1.5 oz pineapple glass

Combine all the ingredients in a high-ball glass filled with ice and stir.

Island Christmas

1.5 oz Don Q Spiced

½ oz Agave Nectar

3 oz Apple Cider

3 dashes of El Guapo Polynesian Bitters

Combine all ingredients and heat, then serve in a holiday mug. You can also serve chilled in a fun tiki-style glass.

Candy Cane Martini

1.5 oz Vodka

¾ oz White Cream de Menthe

¾ oz White Chocolate Liquor

Red sugar rim

Mini candy cane garnish

*3oz Milk(optional) if you want a creamy drink

Combine all ingredients in a shaker tin filled with ice and strain into a chilled, sugar-rimmed martini glass.

Plaquemines Parish

Satsuma Margarita

1.5 oz 1800 Cristal Tequila

½ oz Agave syrup

½ oz freshly squeezed lime juice

3oz freshly juiced satsumas

Kumquat for garnish

Salt the rim of a highball glass and fill it with ice. Shake all ingredients in a shaker tin filled with ice, strain into the highball glass, and garnish with a kumquat.

I hope your holiday season is full of joy, peace, and happiness. Cheers!
