One of the most common questions I get asked online and in person: “Is this an emergency for my pet?”

To answer that all-important question, look at the list below to determine if your pet needs medical attention immediately or if you can hold off and give them a little time.

If you see any of the below signs, you should take your dog or cat in immediately.

Rapid or shallow breathing

Labored breathing

Straining to urinate or defecate

Prolonged or difficult labor

Collapse or fainting

Too weak to rise

Excessive Bleeding

Body swelling

Any gastrointestinal problems, including diarrhea or vomiting

Fever over 102.5

Ingestion of a foreign body (sock, battery, etc.)

I teach my clients to think of their pets like toddlers. If you would take your child in for the clinical sign present, then you should take your dog or cat to the vet to be seen.

Home-buying comes with many questions and concerns; the home-selling process is no different. Regardless, if you have never sold a home or have sold half a dozen, you will have many questions that come with that process. Home selling isn’t a process practiced regularly by homeowners, and the rules, regulations, and industry are constantly changing. Most home sellers begin to have questions before starting the home selling process. If you’re selling your home, it’s suggested that you have a strong understanding of the process and are well prepared. In most cases, asking questions is the best way to understand the process and be wellprepared.

WHAT ARE THE MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FROM HOME SELLERS?

• When is the best time to sell my home?

This frequently asked question cannot be answered simply or in general. Every real estate market is different; therefore, the best time to sell a home will differ for each real estate community. In most cases, spring is the best time to sell a home, but even those months will vary depending on the area in which you live. Since every home seller’s situation is different, you should discuss the timing of your home sale with your realtor.

• How is the real estate market right now?

This frequently asked question from home sellers before listing their homes is related to the local real estate market. There are many market indicators that your agent should be able to share with you to help explain the condition of the local real estate market. One of the most important indicators of market conditions is the average days on the market. The average days on the market can indicate to a seller how quickly homes are selling when listed for sale.

• What should I disclose to potential buyers?

Always be honest. You must disclose to potential buyers anything you are aware of in your home. If you are aware of issues, whenever possible, fixing them before going on the market is best.

Final Thoughts...

As a home seller, there are many important questions concerning the process, and no question is dumb. Selling a home is not done often, so asking plenty of questions is the best way to be prepared and well-educated as you go through the process.
