W Welcome to the 20th anniversary season of Johnson County Community College’s Performing Arts Series! This year, we’ve invited an array of talented artists – singers, dancers, musicians, comedians and actors – who will make you think, laugh or wonder. We’re proud to have served the Johnson County community for 20 years by bringing nationally and internationally known performers to our stage. And we look forward to whom we might bring in the future – accomplished performers we now know and love and new ones yet to be discovered. Thank you for your support of the performing arts at JCCC these past 20 years. I’m glad you could join us. I know you’ll have a wonderful time. Sincerely,
Terry A. Calaway President Johnson County Community College
It seems like only yesterday when the curtains opened in Yardley Hall and Johnson County had its own performing arts center. Twenty years later, we look back at an incredible array of concerts, shows and events. Time flies when you’re having fun, the saying goes, and, since 1990, we’ve had plenty of fun bringing you the Performing Arts Series at Johnson County Community College. No matter when you were first seated in the audience here, the Performing Arts Series has always sought to provide a wide variety of artists and experiences. Undeniably, from music to theater, dance and comedy, variety is our constant. We are proud to present events that evoke a fond memory, inspire hope and elation, help us discover new worlds and enlighten us as we make our way through life. We hope you enjoy our 20th season of events, and we thank the members of our community whose wise counsel helped us shape the season. Curtain up on our next 20 years!
