The First Steps on a Journey The JCC Early Childhood Center helps develop the whole child: socially, intellectually, emotionally and physically. We encourage the development of children’s inner resources, including curiosity, creativity, imagination, independence, a love of learning and selfesteem. The cultural, spiritual and ethical aspects of Judaism are explored through holiday celebrations, teachings, performing Gemilut Chasadim (acts of loving kindness) and demonstrating respect for the world around us.

For 75 years the JCC Early Childhood Center has nurtured Denver’s youngest minds, fostered connections between families and strengthened the community. At this stage of our journey, it is important to celebrate our accomplishments as well as prepare for our future. Last spring the Early Childhood Center broke ground on new children’s playgrounds – ones that extend the school’s learnthough-play philosophy into natural, outdoor environments. Along with facility improvements, the 75th Anniversary Campaign will provide funds for teacher professional development, programmatic enhancements and financial support for those in need. The ECC cannot realize its full potential without your involvement. Your dedication and support will allow us to continue providing the outstanding educational experiences that our children and community deserve.
Those who came before me planted trees for me, and so I too plant trees as a gift to the generations who will follow me. –Talmud
