Hebrew Educational Alliance Programming The Hebrew Educational Alliance offers a wide range of exciting programming for Oy to Joy readers. Every Wednesday we have Lunch and Learn, a stimulating discussion about works by Jewish authors, led by Prof. Abbey Kapelovitz, Ph.D. (English Literature). You may bring your own dairy brown bag or purchase a lox and bagels lunch for $6. We also started a fun Women’s Social Network that meets monthly. The Women's Social Network is for Jewish women, single or married, members or not. The Network hosts monthly events in order to connect women who share interests (movies, theatre, etc.) or passions (Mah Jongg, hiking, etc.). Members are provided with a roster so that between meetings you can contact other Network members to go to movies, theater,or anything else you like. There is no charge to belong to the Network. We have two Mah Jongg groups - one meets Monday nights from 7–9:30 p.m. in the HEA Library and the second group meets Thursday afternoons and is run through the Women’s Social Network. On Saturday mornings, we have weekly Torah study classes during Musaf, followed by our outstanding Kiddush lunch. If you would like more information about any of these programs or if you would like to receive our weekly emails about the various programs at HEA, please feel free to contact Naomi at (303) 758-9400, Ext. 213 or nkirshner@headenver.or
